Over the years, Delhi Capitals (DC) have emerged as one of the strongest teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He made it to the playoffs in the last three seasons and even featured in the final against Mumbai Indians in 2020. However, his first title win is still awaited.
With the start of the new season, the Rishabh Pant-led side is looking to start afresh. Players have started sweating in the nets under the watchful eye of coach Rick Ponting. Meanwhile, the captain was seen singing during a training session in Mumbai.

Pant was seen hitting a few sixes in the nets on Sunday. While he was training the bowlers, the youth of the team including Yash Dhul, Sarfaraz Khan and Kamlesh Nagarkoti were looking in wonder in the background.
The franchise shared the video of Pant’s batting practice on social media. “Delhi ko kar aaya,” read the caption of the video.

Delhi Capitals will start their IPL 2022 campaign against 5-time champions Mumbai Indians on March 27 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. The team will be confident of starting the season with some fresh faces.
