IPL 2022: Chennai Super Kings resume training in Surat. Cricket News – Times of India

new Delhi: Indian Premier League‘s (IPL) defending champion Chennai Super Kings ,Chennai Super Kings) started their training for the upcoming season at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat on Monday.
In a video shared by Chennai Super Kings (CSK), MS Dhoni can be seen walking into the stadium along with other stars for their training session amid fans queuing on the streets to catch a glimpse of the CSK players.
“The eyes that smile with love, bring us joy, wherever we go!” CSK wrote on Twitter, sharing a video of the fans cheering the team in Surat.

Players like skipper Dhoni, Ambati Rayudu, KM Asif are training while bowling coach L Balaji was also seen at the venue during training in pictures shared by the franchise.
Injured Deepak Chahar may be missed the most IPL 2022 Season for CSK, said a report in ESPN Cricinfo on Wednesday.

Chahar suffered a right quadriceps injury while leaving for India in the final T20I against West Indies in Kolkata and was ruled out of the subsequent T20I series against Sri Lanka.
CSK paid Rs 14 crore to secure Chahar’s services in the IPL 2022 mega auction.
CSK will begin their campaign against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai which will also be the opening match of the 10-team IPL 2022.
