Apple has hosted its premiere event only once in the last decade, in October, and that was due to the pandemic. The iPhone 15 series is expected to be unveiled on September 15, 2023.

According to the article, Apple also reveals the launch date 10 days before the event, allows pre-orders a week before the event and starts selling a week after the event. This means that the iPhone 15 series will be released to the general public on September 22 or 23, 2023.

Major changes in the iPhone 15 series (expected)

The iPhone 15 series is rumored to get a significant camera upgrade, with all iPhone 15 models sporting a 48MP primary shooter. In addition, the Dynamic Island will be standard on the iPhone 15 model, and it may be able to adapt to the morphing camera cutout/display function, expanding its capabilities significantly.

Apple may replace the Lightning charging port with a USB-C port. The top-end iPhone 15 model is expected to use the A17 chipset, while the regular model will feature the A16 Bionic chipset.
