International Cook’s Day 2021: This year’s theme is Building Forward Together: Ending Permanent Poverty, Respecting All People and Our Planet

The theme of International Cook’s Day 2021 is “Moving Together: Ending Persistent Poverty, Honoring All People and Our Planet”. This year chefs from around the world will spread the message about the impact of food production and consumption on the environment. Last year the theme of International Chefs Day was ‘Healthy Food for the Future’.

History and Significance of International Cooks Day 2021:

International Chefs Day was first started in 2004 by the late Dr. Bill Gallagher, a renowned chef and former President of the World Association of Chef’s Societies (WorldChefs). It was just a day to create awareness about healthy eating and to respect the profession. Worldchefs are working together to educate the world about more aspects, varieties and benefits of food. Over the years, WorldChef has joined hands with Nestle Professional. Nestle Professional organizes fun workshops and events for kids to teach them the importance of eating healthy.
