The industry also welcomed the Centre’s move to regulate multi-sport events as part of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS).

“This will ultimately lead to recognition of the India Esports Federation, better rules and procedures for selecting India’s teams for international events such as the Asian Games, and better opportunities and facilities for our eSports players, among others,” Landers said. ,
