Indian Idol 12 contestant Shanmukhpriya has been subjected to constant trolling throughout the show, despite garnering a lot of attention from audiences across the country. While she has been a part of many music reality shows, this time she has not received much praise from the audience. Same is the case with Mohd Danish as both have to face trolling by netizens.
Despite constant trolling, many have found him to be a musically conscious artist with an original voice. It seems that Sunidhi Chauhan also likes her a lot, as there is originality in her every performance. Nevertheless, despite the constant trolling, the fans have rallied behind Shanmukhpriya. They commend her for not creating a ‘fake love’ angle to survive on the show, which seems to be a basic tactic used by many contestants.
As Indian Idol 12 approaches its grand finale, eliminations are expected in the next few weeks. As per the most recent rumors and speculations, Danish and Shanmukhpriya have been kicked out of the show. Following the elimination of Sawai Bhatt and Anjali Gaikwad, seven contestants competed for the winner’s trophy, including Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, SNP, Nihal Tauro, Danish, Ashish Kulkarni and Sayli Kamble. However, confirmation won’t happen until the eliminations happen during the weekend’s show.
Danish and SNP have received a lot of criticism from followers on social media, who often comment that they ‘shout instead of sing’ and accuse them of ruining classic songs by lead artists. The singing reality show is judged by Vishal Dadlani, Neha Kakkar and Himesh Reshammiya, with Aditya Narayan delighting us with his hosting abilities. However, for the last several months, Anu Malik and Sonu Kakkar are judging the show instead of Vishal and Neha.
