Cricket teams of India and New Zealand have reached Mumbai for the second and final Test starting on Friday at the prestigious Wankhede Stadium. However, the weather is going to be a deciding factor during all five days of the game.
Mumbai rains had already affected the practice session on Wednesday and the situation is expected to remain the same on Thursday as well. Both the teams will try to seal the series after a draw in Kanpur, but only if the weather permits.

Will rain play badly on the first day of the Mumbai Test?
According to AccuWeather, the chances of having crickets are very high as the day is likely to be humid with partial sunlight. Zero percent of thunderstorms with 25% of total rain.
The morning session is likely to be partly sunny and humid, with a 25% chance and a 74% chance of cloudy sky.
Mumbai Weather Forecast Friday – Morning The weather clears up as the day progresses. There is a 35 per cent chance of cloudy sky in the afternoon and the chance of rain falling to 1 per cent.
Even if the weather allows the game to go ahead, the lighting conditions in the evening may force the opening stumps. Friday evening is going to be the most ‘blurry’, with the cloud cover falling further to 18%. The probability of rain remains at 1%.
As per the forecast, a full day’s play is expected and this is a good news for the fans. However, it rains in Mumbai for uninvited guests which often spoils the mood.
