India gave a strong reply to the allegation of Pakistan’s involvement in the blast near Hafiz Saeed’s house

New Delhi: India on Thursday responded to Imran Khan’s allegations regarding the recent Lahore blasts. The Pakistani Prime Minister had alleged that the recent blast near the residence of terrorist Hafiz Saeed was India.

In a strong reaction, India said that Pakistan should organize its home and take action against terrorism emanating from its soil.

“It is not new for Pakistan to indulge in baseless propaganda against India. Pakistan is equally bound to organize its home and take credible and verifiable action against terrorism emanating from its soil and safe haven seekers. Will do well to try there,” External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said during the weekly briefing.

The Indian response said the world is aware of Pakistan’s terror links and glorifying its own leader Osama bin Laden.

The foreign ministry spokesperson said, “The international community is well aware of Pakistan’s credentials when it comes to terrorism. This has been acknowledged by none other than their own leadership, which recognizes Osama bin Laden as a martyr. glorifies.”

Pakistan’s allegations

On June 23, 3 people were killed and 24 others were injured in a powerful car bomb blast outside Saeed’s residence at the Board of Revenue (BOR) housing society in Lahore’s Jauhar Town.

Pakistan’s National Security Adviser Moeed Yusuf had accused India of the June 23 bombings outside the residence of Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed. Pakistan alleged that the mastermind of the attack is an Indian national and is linked to RAW (Research and Analysis Wing).

Prime Minister Imran Khan also alleged that “the planning and financing of this heinous terror attack has links to Indian sponsorship of terrorism against Pakistan”. He appealed to the global community to unite international institutions against this behaviour.

Indian envoy meeting with OIC chief

Meanwhile, the External Affairs Minister also shared the details of the recent meeting between the Indian envoy and the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The meeting between the Indian envoy, the Saudi ambassador and the OIC secretary general was held earlier this week on July 5, in which India sought Pakistan’s cooperation to clear misconceptions about the country.

“During this meeting, a wide range of issues were discussed. Our Ambassador conveyed the need to remove misconceptions about India, which are due to vested interests in the OIC. Further, he pointed out that the OIC should be careful that their platform is not distorted. In my comments already in relation to Pakistan for these vested interests or for anti-India propaganda through partisan and unilateral proposals for comments on India’s internal affairs Vested interests have been mentioned,” said Arindam Bagchi.
