experienced person India Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is expected to be included in the Test squad ahead of the first warm-up match starting June 24. Ashwin was tested positive for COVID-19 and missed a flight to England along with other players. According to a report in Cricbuzz, Ashwin will reach Leicester in the next few days.
A Cricbuzz report said that it has been learned that new travel arrangements are being made for the veteran cricketer and he should be with the rest of his teammates soon.

Jayant Yadav was kept as standby after Ashwin failed to recover in time. The Haryana spinner was called to the NCA in Bangalore. However, that option has been ruled out as Ashwin has fully recovered and is expected to fly in the next 24 hours, probably on Wednesday.
Team India’s head coach Rahul Dravid and batsmen Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer have reached London after the end of the series against South Africa.
Dravid has joined Rohit Sharma & Co as BCCI posted a few pictures on its Twitter handle in which the head coach is seen addressing the team at the hurdle.

The Indian Test team will take on England in the fifth Test from last year’s tour, which was postponed after several COVID cases were reported at the visitors’ camp. The match is to be played on 1 July at Edgbaston.
India are currently leading 2-1 in the five-match series against England and things will be a little different for both the teams from last time. In the nearly 10 months since then, both teams have found new captains with Ben Stokes and Rohit Sharma as new head coaches in Dravid and Brendon McCullum.
