IND Vs ENG, 4th Test: Team India Beat Three Lions By 5 Wickets

Rohit Sharma and co. have clinched another impressive win at home by beating England by 5 wickets in what was a dominating display by Team India in Ranchi. Dhruv Jurel and Shubman Gill took the team through the finish line in what was a low run-chase on Day 5.

England’s ‘Bazball’ took a side step in Ranchi as Joe Root and the others switched to the old Test cricket style and took England to a respectable total in the beginning. However, the Indian bowlers stood up to the task and made sure that the series would be wrapped up as soon as possible.

Skipper Rohit Sharma achieved another big feat after the topsy-turvy win and became the first captain to win a Test series against the ‘Bazball’ era. The players were performing really well under pressure and under the astute leadership of the hitman were able to produce an all-round display on the day.

Team India have also extended their unbeaten streak in Test matches at home after their 17th successive series win in India. The streak has been carried forward from 2013 showing the dominance of the team over the years. The second best run came for Australia when they won 10 Test series in a row at home.
