India and Australia, the two eternal rivals, are now once again set to square off in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy starting February 9.

Needless to say, this tweet did not go down well with the Indian cricket fraternity.

Former India batsman Aakash Chopra, however, did not waste much time in issuing a quick response. In his befitting reply, Chopra reminded of the last result of the Test series in 2020-21. “And the series score-line? Just asking,” wrote Aakash Chopra.

Aakash Chopra’s post started a buzz as cricket fans shared their thoughts on the action-packed rivalry between India and Australia.

A social media user said, “India played really well, don’t forget Virat Kohli He left the series midway due to his family commitments. But still they managed to win it gracefully.

Another fan had a different take on the matter. “Series will be won and lost, after all it is a team sport. But no one can erase the embarrassment of 36 all out. Try all you can,” read the comment.

Another person cheekily remarked, “If we’re going to win a series in Australia or anywhere on earth, would love to be dismissed for 36 again and again.”

Another Twitter user hilariously wrote, “And the rest is history.”

India started the series against Australia on a poor note after suffering an eight-wicket defeat in the first Test in December 2020. However, the visitors staged a stunning comeback to seal the Test series. India emerged victorious 2–1 in the four-match Test series.
