Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Akshay Oberoi will soon be seen in Fighter. He was earlier caught at the airport while leaving for the shoot.
After celebrating the success of Pathan, director Siddharth Anand has started working on his next film Fighter. The much-awaited aerial action entertainer stars Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan in lead roles. Earlier in the day, the duo was seen heading to an undisclosed location for the shoot.
Deepika kept it comfy in a black pullover teamed with denims. He styled his look with an oversized multicolored jacket. Black boots and a pair of sunglasses tied her entire look together. She donned one of her brightest smiles as the paparazzi captured her.
Whereas, Hrithik looked very cool in a black outfit. He wore a T-shirt and paired it with joggers. He completed his look with black shades and a cap. At the airport, he also met actor Akshay Oberoi, who plays a pivotal role in the film. Both hugged and also posed for pictures.
Akshay Oberoi will be seen playing the role of an Airforce officer in the film. Earlier, the actor expressed his excitement to come on board for the film. He said, ‘I have worked with Deepika earlier in Piku and it feels good to work again. Hrithik’s dedication towards work is quite impressive. I can feel it already.”
Hrithik Roshan had earlier revealed about this upcoming film. “We are shooting with real fighter jets. Just being around the Indian Air Force has been very inspiring. There is a lot to learn from his body language, decorum, discipline, his courage and intelligence. I’m so glad I got to experience it myself.”
Fighter is scheduled to release in January 2024.
Talking about Siddharth Anand’s last film Pathan, it featured Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles. Released on 25 January, the film proved to be a commercial blockbuster. It has already earned Rs 400 crore at the ticket window.
Reacting to the success, Siddharth had earlier shared with ETimes, “It is a bit surreal. I am happy just being a part of the industry and being able to make films because I don’t know anything else. And now a lot of credit is being given to you, you know, like bringing cinema back, bringing single screen back, bringing box office back, bringing audience back… so I don’t know what all these tags mean. How to react I am just happy that I have found my next job. And I can keep making movies.”
