New Delhi: The 2nd semi-final match of the ICC Under-19 World Cup is scheduled to be played between heavyweights India and Australia today. The first semi-final of the tournament was played between Afghanistan and England. For the first time in 24 years, England have managed to make it to the Under-19 World Cup final, as they beat Afghanistan by 15 runs in a nail-biting game.

In the ongoing tournament, Team India is one of the fan-favorites and a strong contender to win today’s match against Australia. One of the reasons for this is that India had easily defeated Australia in their warm-up match.
Team India has reached the semi-finals by defeating South Africa, Ireland, Uganda and Bangladesh. The Australian team, on the other hand, defeated West Indies, Scotland apart from Pakistan. Australia had to face defeat against Sri Lanka during the group match.
