In a painful video going viral on Twitter, a woman was seen sexually assaulted in broad daylight by a group of men in Alirajpur district of Madhya Pradesh. The video is of a tribal festival Bhagoria, which is celebrated in the area before Holi.
The clip shows a woman trying to hide behind a vehicle when a man passing by tries to assault her. When she is rescued from him, another man, who is walking by her, comes back and tries to assault her again. He was then seen being brutally dragged into a group of men. They all try to grope her as she screams for help.
Several people were seen beating up in the scene. No one came to his rescue.
Alirajpur Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Singh said that all the accused have been identified. Alirajpur PRO said, ‘The accused will not be spared under any circumstances.
Bhagoria is celebrated in the districts of Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Barwani and western Madhya Pradesh.
