Former AIADMK leader VK Sasikala has hinted at returning to politics in yet another leaked conversation with a party worker named Kubendran from Periyakulam. He can be heard comparing former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and her intention to merge AIADMK and AMMK.

“After MGR’s (Maruthur Gopal Menon Ramachandran) death, Amma (Jayalalithaa) was thrown out of the party like how I am being treated now. We (Jaya and her) won that fight and The party was merged. I am thinking about that. And I keep saying that we all should be together,” Sasikala said in the audiotape.

Stating that the AIADMK’s cadre base is in her support, Sasikala said she will bring back the party’s pride. “We will give Amma-like rule,” he said. He believes that the split of AIADMK helped the DMK win the recently concluded Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.

Sasikala promised that she would lead the party like MGR and Jayalalithaa. He also claimed that the current AIADMK leadership did not properly use the welfare schemes and images of former Tamil Nadu Chief Ministers in their election campaigns.

In another audiotape with a cadre named Pasuthurai from Sankarankoil, Sasikala said, the cadre will decide The future course of the party.

“If AMMK and AIADMK merged together and contested elections, the party would have won. We are not in power only because of the selfishness of some people. Whose faults are these? They made a mistake and now we have lost the government,” he said. Heard.

On March 4 this year, Sasikala had announced her ‘retreat’ from politics. The decision came during the peak of campaigning for the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. The expected talks of the AIADMK-AMMK merger did not take place and Sasikala remained silent, not responding to political developments till May.

Sasikala’s audio tapes began to surface in May. Sasikala is speaking in these tapes AIADMK workers expressed their views on many issues. She deliberately discusses the internal affairs of the party. Audiotapes are finding ways to get wider dissemination on social media.

Meanwhile, the AIADMK recently passed a resolution under the leadership of Palaniswami and Panneerselvam that said disciplinary action would be taken against anyone who spoke with Sasikala.

After leaking audio tapes, AIADMK dismissed 16 from the party. However, he has continued to speak directly to AIADMK workers in those tapes, mostly condoling the party’s defeat in the elections and promising to return to politics.
