Parliament Monsoon Session: PM chairs NDA floor leaders’ meeting, advises them to be prepared

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a meeting of NDA floor leaders on Sunday, a day before the monsoon session of Parliament.

During the meeting, Modi advised all the leaders to participate as much as possible during the discussion in Parliament. He asked the MPs and Ministers to come to Parliament with full preparation.

In addition, Modi stressed on better coordination in Parliament, and asked leaders to be present as much as possible.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda were present in the meeting.

Leaders of several NDA constituents were also present. These included Apna Dal leader Anupriya Patel, JD(U) leader Ram Nath Thakur, AIADMK leader A Navaneethkrishnan, RPI leader Ramdas Athawale and LJP leader Pashupati Paras.

The meeting was called to finalize the floor strategy for the session.

The monsoon session of Parliament is scheduled to last till August 13.
