Recently, music maestro Isainani Ilaiyaraaja visited Oscar winner AR Rahman’s music studio in Dubai. Music lovers have a reason to celebrate as Ilaiyaraaja agreed to play in future to compose music for Rahman’s Firdaus Orchestra. A few hours ago, ‘Mozart of Madras’ AR Rahman posted a picture of himself with Ilaiyaraaja on his Twitter and Instagram timeline and wrote, “So happy to welcome the maestro to our Firdaus studio… Wonderful composition to play in the future Paradise Orchestra!”

The picture thrilled the fans of Ilaiyaraaja and Rahman, both considered to be iconic legends in the field of music. Ilaiyaraaja also responded to Rahman’s post on Twitter.

Quoting Rahman’s tweet, Ilaiyaraaja said, “Request accepted… composition will start soon.”

Both music directors are considered legends by fans of good music around the world. Interestingly, Rahman himself was a keyboard player working for Ilaiyaraaja before becoming a music director.

Rahman and Ilaiyaraaja’s picture thrilled not only the fans but also many top actors and singers, many of whom expressed their excitement. Actress Shraddha Srinath, rapper Blaze, music producer Meghdeep Bose and singer Hariharan were some of those who reacted to the giants’ picture together. One of the fans wrote, “Legends in one frame.” Another said, “Just amazing…!!!! Simply amazing…!! Simply amazing…!!!”
