IIT Madras Innovative Technologies Foundation L&T is collaborating with Edutech, a digitally powered learning initiative by Larsen & Toubro, to offer industry skill programs for engineering and science students across India. It aims to provide students access to industry experts and top academicians who can teach concepts and fundamentals. The collaboration aims to reach 25,000 annually.

The initiative aims to bridge the gap in making students ‘industry ready’. The partnership will also offer customized programs for professionals across the industry to enhance themselves and achieve career advancement. As informed by the signing officials, Promoter Technologies will bring in various engineering and science departments from IIT Madras while L&T EduTech will provide industry expertise.

Each course will provide conceptual learning supported by engineering applications. As a result, learners will be exposed to engineering fundamentals along with industry-relevant knowledge gained from engineering practice. Details about the programs will be announced by the end of this month.
