Varanasi : A student of Indian Institute of Technologyhandjob Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU) claims to have developed the first version of an artificial intelligence-based yoga Platform through Multiplayer Yoga Gameplay (MPYG) that will teach how to do Yoga the right way.

“MPYG is an innovation in the field of Yoga. It is an artificial intelligence and augmented reality based community yoga platform. This will motivate people to choose yoga keeping in mind the health factors and is designed with an aim to make people do yoga in the right way,” said Vidyabhushan.
He added that MPYG with its auto detection feature not only detects wrong yoga posture but also corrects it with audio-video assistance by artificial intelligence. The technique has been accepted and published in June in the Journal of Artificial Intelligence.
