IITs, IIMs introduced several new courses: The new session is about to begin and the country’s premier institutes IITs and IIMs have started many new courses. Students who will start their academic journey this year will have more course options to choose from. The newly introduced courses are not limited to college students as some programs have been started for working professionals as well. Here is a list of new courses launched by premium technical and management institutes.
new B.Tech program – IIT Patna
IIT Patna has started 3 new degree programs at the undergraduate (UG) level. Admission to all the 3 BTech courses will be done on the basis of JEE Advanced score. The newly introduced courses are BTech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, BTech in Engineering Physics and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computing.
bs program-IIT Kharagpur
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur has launched a new four-year program which will replace the already existing five-year Integrated Master of Science (MSc) at the institute from this year. BS program will be offered for these courses. The new curriculum covers applied geology, chemistry, economics, exploration geophysics, mathematics and computing, and physics.
advanced Diploma program In virtual reality – IIT Madras
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras will soon offer an advanced diploma program in Virtual Reality that will be offered in both online and offline mode. The syllabus will be open to candidates with engineering background. The applications for the course will be available from November 2021 and the first batch will start from January 2022. There will be an annual admission of 50 students in this course.
B.Tech Courses in Emerging Domains – IIT Hyderabad
IIT Hyderabad has started 3 B.Tech programs in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, Computational Engineering and Industrial Chemistry. The BTech course provides an opportunity to the students to take courses from all the branches of science like Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in the first two semesters.
Executive Program in Strategic Sales Management– IIM Indore
Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore has launched an executive program in Strategic Sales Management. The new program has been designed in collaboration with Jigsaw to help sales professionals and candidates at various experience levels incorporate the skills for driving sales. Anyone with graduate with at least 2 years of relevant work experience is eligible for the executive programme.
