If you want to be a leader, you have to be a voter

BJP’s All India Co-President Dilip Ghosh made fun of Prashant Kishor being a voter in Bhawanipur. Taking a jibe at Prashant Kishor, Dilip Babu said that he had written his name at the grassroots level long back. Now it is known as a voter. It is noteworthy that the by-election is to be held in Bhabhanipur assembly constituency on 30 September. Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee is contesting again there.

Coming to the morning walk at Echo Park on Sunday, the former BJP state president said, “The voter list of Bhawanipur has the name of Pick and the address of Abhishek’s house. We know that he was a grassroots leader. Now to become a leader you have to become a voter. I think it happened then. Got it this time.’ This time BJP has targeted Trinamool for the inclusion of Prashant Kishor, a resident of Bihar in Bhawanipur voter list. In such a situation, the question of Gerua Shibir is how Prashant Kishor came to Bengal. It is worth mentioning that Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty had registered his name in the voter list of this state in the last assembly. Before the vote, he joined the BJP and campaigned for the BJP.

Regarding the killing of three BJP workers in Hanskhali in the post-poll violence, Dilip Babu said, ‘West Bengal politics has become criminal. Those who were anti-social, used by the CPM, have become grassroots leaders. Such is the criminalization that it has become like Bihar. There is no law and order. Police does not take FIR of anyone
