An IDF officer from the civil administration was convicted of several sex crimes, including raping a Palestinian woman, Ynet reported.
The officer, whose identity is restricted from publication, was fired from the military and sentenced to 11 years in prison for crimes he committed from 2013-2014, including, but not limited to: that of a Palestinian woman. Rape, sexual assault, sexual bribery, fraud, breach of trust and abuse of authority to the point of endangering national security, according to ynet.
It is considered to be one of the harshest punishments ever awarded to an IDF officer.
