MUMBAI: Veteran Rajasthan Royals opener Jos Buttler feels teammate Prashant Krishna has the qualities to be a successful fast bowler and looks up to the youngster playing for India in all three formats. Krishna, who made his ODI debut last March, has given a good account of himself over the past one year. He troubled West Indies with his disappointing pace and bounce while performing well for his previous IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders.
“He has some pace in the nets and skills, he has all the qualities to be a very successful fast bowler for India in all formats of the game. I see him playing red ball cricket for India as well. , Yuzvendra Chahal and Trent Boult in trouble.
“Their experience is really invaluable. Having those guys is fantastic, we have a lot of experience to draw on. The game was in balance against Mumbai and we needed wickets, Ashwin took a brilliant wicket and then Yuji in two Took two wickets. They are top performers and they know how to do things.” Talking about Sanju Samson, Butler said that the captain has matured as a player since they first started playing together. “Not many changes (since Sanju became the captain). “Dew is something we cannot control but we can practice with the wet ball and get used to it. For fielding too, add some water and practice your catch as dew is a big factor and we need to adapt to it as soon as possible. ,
