Hyundai Exter SUV Design Details Officially Revealed Ahead Of Launch: Check Features, Dimension

Hyundai is setting the stage for the launch of the Xtor in India. The new compact car is going to be launched in India on 10th July. Ahead of the South Korean automaker officially taking the wraps off the car, the company has revealed the interior and exterior details of the new model. As per the latest revelations, the car will come with several new design elements, features and technology. It is to be noted that the bookings for the new Xeter are open with a token amount of Rs 11,000. The deliveries of the car will start soon after the official launch.

Going by the newly released images, the Hyundai Xtor will feature projector headlamps and LED DRLs (with a fresh H-shaped design), which will be complemented by a parametric front grille. In addition to this, the car gets an edgy design with lines accentuating the curves presented on the bonnet. Apart from this, there are various elements like dual-tone alloys, electric sunroof and others, which add to the exclusivity of the car. It gets a wheelbase of 2,450 mm and height of 1,610 mm. There are five trim levels available for the new Hyundai Exter: EX, S, SX, SX(O), and SX(O) Connect.

The interiors of the Hyundai Exter’s seats get leatherette cladding with the car’s name on them. It gets a digital instrument cluster with 7 ambient sounds, 8-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system, 4.2-inch color TFT multi-information display unit, Hyundai BlueLink with 60 connected features and more. To keep the car updated with modern features, it gets in car voice commands via Alexa with 10 regional and 2 international languages.

Similarly, the South Korean automaker has focused on the safety features of the car. It gets 6 airbags as a standard safety feature. Apart from this, it also gets features like ESC (Electronic Stability Control), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), HAC (Hill Assist Control), 3-point seat belts with seatbelt reminder for all seats, a burglar alarm which is a first in the segment , and ABS with EBD. TMP and a dashboard camera are two other segment-first safety innovations. ISOFIX anchors, a headlight escort functionality and a rear parking camera are also included.

The car will be powered by a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine (E20 fuel ready) with the option of a 1.2-L bi-fuel Kappa petrol with CNG engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission (5MT) and Smart as options. Will work together Auto with AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) and 5-speed manual transmission.
