Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Vikram Vedha’ Remake Delayed?

Vikram Vedha Bollywood The remake was a pleasant surprise for the fans. Reportedly, Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan have been roped in to play the lead roles in it. This was also the first time that two talented actors are coming together for a project. However, the shooting of the film, which has already been delayed due to the pandemic, has posed another hurdle.

According to a report in ETimes, the cast will first shoot abroad as they have apprehensions about the new coronavirus variant. The film was supposed to go on floors by mid-July. Hrithik had also started preparing for this but the new delta version of Kovid has played a bad game. The film will probably shift to another country and parts of Mumbai will be shot later when things get back to normal.

A source close to the development said, “No doubt, it was not an easy call but the fact that it is going to be an expensive set made the makers take the safe route instead of regretting it later.”

The original Vikram Vedha was remade in Tamil, starring R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. While Madhavan plays a cop, Vijay plays a goon. This is a twist on the story of Vikram Betaal. Vikram Vedha was a hit upon arrival and in the Hindi remake it is said that Hrithik will play the role played by Vijay Sethupathi and Saif will play the role of the cop.

Vikram Vedha is one of the many regional film remakes that will release in the coming times.
