Kiran recalled that she received a call from director Kedar Shinde when she was shooting for the daily soap Mulgi Jaali Ho.

Bigg Boss Marathi season 4 ended on 8th January and actor Kirron Mane became the second runner-up of the show. Her journey throughout the show made her a fan favorite but not many know that she paid a price for it. He had to lose out on a film because of his stint in Bigg Boss Marathi 4. The film in question is Maharashtra Shaheer. Kiran has revealed this in a post shared on Instagram. The actor wrote that he feels lucky to have got a lot of work after Bigg Boss. But, she had to give up a great film due to the shooting schedule clashing with her stint in the show.

Kiran recalled that she received a call from director Kedar Shinde when she was shooting for the daily soap Mulgi Jaali Ho. Kedar told them that he was directing a film on the life of folk artist Krishnarao Ganpatrao, popularly known as Shahir Sable. According to Kiran, Kedar asked him for help in pronouncing the dialect of Satara that Shahir Sable used to speak. Kiran remembered that Kedar had asked her if the two of them could meet to discuss the screenplay if she was up for it. Kiran immediately agreed to this proposal. According to Kiran, Shahir Sable holds a very special place in her life. The actor took a walk down memory lane and recalled that his father had brought him a tape recorder. In that recorder there were some cassettes from the collection of Shahir Sable.

Kiran further wrote that he and his friends used to perform Shahir Sable’s plays every Sunday which was his foray into the world of acting. Kiran was a huge fan of the most respected folk artist and used to eagerly look forward to his concerts in college. The actor recalled that he used to visit Shahir Sable’s compound where he lived before the performance. He has kept Shahir Sable’s first autograph even today.
