Paris: Russia Host has been stripped Volleyball World Championship in August and September due to the invasion of Ukrainesport’s governing body, international volleyball Federation (FIVB), announced Tuesday.
“The FIVB Board of Administration has come to the conclusion that due to the war in Ukraine it will be impossible to prepare and stage the World Championships in Russia,” a statement from the International Volleyball Federation said.
