New Delhi: home Ministry handed over on tuesday Jammu air force station attack case National Investigation Agency (NIA).
Two consecutive explosions took place at the high-security Jammu Air Force Station in the early hours of Sunday, injuring two jawans on duty in the technical area.
Officials said this is probably the first time that suspected terrorists based in Pakistan have used unmanned aerial vehicles.

“Drones carrying payload were used in both the blasts in Jammu airspace. Police have registered an FIR at Satwari police station,” he said hours before the NIA formally took over the probe.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police chief also said that the police along with other investigative agencies are investigating the blasts. A case has been registered at Satwari police station under the Explosives Act and other sections.
