CHENNAI: In view of the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the state, Tamil Nadu Government declared holiday for all on Sunday students In which the students of class X, XI and XII are included till January 31.
Although physical classes for classes I to IX stopped from the first week of January 2022, offline classes for classes IX to XII continued for immunization and to prepare for the board. Examination,
“In view of the increase in COVID-19 cases, all classes including Classes X, XI and XII were given leave till January 31. Revision exams which were slated for January 19th for classes X and XII have also been postponed. The revised dates will be announced later,” a release from the state government said.
With no reference marks available for the current batch X and XII state board students, the school education department planned two revision tests, one in January and the other in March as a backup for the board exams.
