President Kovind will address a public meeting of 5000 people in his village today.

President Ram Nath Kovind has reached his native village Paraunkh in Kanpur countryside. He is accompanied by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben Patel. The President first had darshan of Pathri Devi, the total deity located in Paraunkh. Temple priest KK Vajpayee told that the President gave 11 thousand rupees as donation.

Now he will go to the Model Primary School in the village. Then Ambedkar will garland the statue in Ambedkar Park. His Excellency will also address a public meeting of more than 5000 people near Viraganna Jhalkari Bai Inter College of Paraunkh. He has a program in Paraunkh till 3.15 pm.

An Ambedkar Park has been developed in the village through the President. Along with the Ambedkar statue, a small library has also been built in this park. The President will inaugurate it by garlanding the Ambedkar statue. Earlier there was no Ambedkar statue in the village.

Will go to the meeting center built at the ancestral house
The President will visit the Milan Kendra at his ancestral residence. The President’s family has now shifted from Paraunkh to Jhinjhak. Due to this, he donated the land of his ancestral residence to the Government Milan Kendra. So that the marriage center can easily get the place for the marriage of the sons and daughters of the village.

President had laid the foundation of Jhalkari Bai Inter College
There was not even a single inter-college in the President’s native village Paraunkh. Due to this, most of the children of the village used to drop out after 8th standard. In the year 2000, the President had laid the foundation of Inter College to give good education to the children of the village. In this, along with Paraunkh, more than 500 students from nearby areas are studying at present.

This is the first program after becoming the President when the President himself will address a public meeting. A luxurious pandal has been built outside the village to accommodate more than five thousand people. After going to Inter College, he will address the public meeting in the pandal in front of him.

9:05 am – President’s helicopter will reach Paraunkh Kanpur countryside.

9:40 pm- President will reach Ambedkar Bhavan
