Hassan: Some members of pro-Hindutva organizations protested in front of a church in Belur Hasan Accused Christian community leaders of “forced conversion”.
Devotees present inside the church later said that some people entered the building during the morning prayers, creating an atmosphere of fear. He denied that any Change was happening in church.
Police intervened and the situation was brought under control.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad taluk unit president Krishnagowda said: “In the taluka, forcible conversion is being done in over 30 churches. For this they are using illegal buildings. If TMC fails to act, we will agitate.
Church manager Suresh Paul later said: “There was no religious conversion taking place. Some of them barged into the church, while the morning prayer was creating an atmosphere of fear. ,
