Hina Khan on her stellar role in ‘Seven One’
‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ fame Hina Khan Adeeb is all set to play the role of a strong cop Radhika Shroff in Raees’ new series ‘Seven One’.
The actress is quite excited about her diglam look and she talks about her role and shooting experience.
Hina says: “I thoroughly enjoyed the process of playing a cop. The approach was as real as it gets with real places. I didn’t do any makeup and didn’t have to think a bit about it It was what I am going to do. Wear or how am I supposed to look. Because I was playing a real life cop. And I also think actors are like sponges.”
“We must observe everything good and real around us in order to play our characters efficiently. And I am glad that I was able to reflect such high and precise creativity from the producers who knew they What do you want. The whole experience was fulfilling and I am thankful to the director and the entire team.”
Adeeb Raees, who was earlier known for Vinay Pathak, Soni Razdan, Gauhar Khan starrer anthology ‘Kaali Peeli Tales’, further reveals about Hina’s look in the series.
“Hina is going to take everyone by a storm. Her performance is genuine and nuanced and the look is different from what you’ve seen of her before. There isn’t an ounce of makeup or glamour. We wanted to keep the world of the series raw and raw. Actual and Hina completely surrendered before my sight.”
Hina talks about what attracted her to this project.
She says: “When Adeeb narrated this story to me, I was very excited for the role. I have never played a cop. My character Radhika Shroff is handling this high profile case where the stakes are high .
“But she is not a Bollywood commercial cop who performs extraordinary stunts, high drama chases or poses with mega build ups every time she appears on the scene. She is more reflective of what a real life cop would be. Wala Kaisa Hoga. I have always been a fan of realistic cinema and never miss such an opportunity.”
When asked what the audience should expect from the series, Hina replied: “Lots of thrills, unexpected twists, suspense, realistic cinema and character graph. What you see is not what you should believe. I am sure the audience will be associated with this show.”
The shooting of the six-episode series produced by Madidas Films has recently wrapped up. The cast also includes Vikram Kochhar, Ashwini Kaul, Bhuvan Arora, Shadab Kamal.
