He said that his budget is not an election budget, but his fifth budget and whatever schemes have been started in the budget so far, they have been completed. He said that till the Model Code of Conduct is implemented, his government will continue to work for every section and will enter the assembly elections with full force and make Mission Repeat a success. He said the desire of Congress to return to power would never turn into reality.

Jai Ram Thakur said that his government made every effort to establish financial discipline in the state and every year took loans less than the limit fixed by the central government, whereas in the Congress government, the entire limit was used. He said that despite a global disaster like Corona epidemic, the BJP government has taken a loan of Rs 5384 crore less than the authorized limit for taking loans this year.
He said that at present there is a debt of Rs 62200 crore on the state. He said that if the Congress had shown mercy in taking loans during its rule, then today the state would not have had so much debt and the economic condition of the state would have been better. He said that the debt burden on the state would be relatively less in the coming times. He said that the opposition has just played a tradition by opposing the budget.
He said that his government has implemented a new pay scale for more than two lakh employees of the state. Out of these, more than 1.20 lakh employees have also given the option of new pay scale and more than 1.09 lakh employees are also taking advantage of the new pay scale.
He blamed the Congress for scrapping the old pension scheme and said that his government did everything possible for the employees. He accused the Congress of misleading certain sections of the employees and hoped that these people would not be misled and would remain with the government.
