He said that at present there is a debt of Rs 62200 crore on the state. He said that if the Congress had shown mercy in taking loans during its rule, then today the state would not have had so much debt and the economic condition of the state would have been better. He said that the debt burden on the state would be relatively less in the coming times. He said that the opposition has just played a tradition by opposing the budget.
He said that his government has implemented a new pay scale for more than two lakh employees of the state. Out of these, more than 1.20 lakh employees have also given the option of new pay scale and more than 1.09 lakh employees are also taking advantage of the new pay scale.
He blamed the Congress for scrapping the old pension scheme and said that his government did everything possible for the employees. He accused the Congress of misleading certain sections of the employees and hoped that these people would not be misled and would remain with the government.

He said that his government has increased the budget of every department in the last four years and the opposition is giving false figures in this regard.
