High Drama on Hyderabad Streets as Car of Andhra CM’s Sister Gets Towed While She’s in it | WATCH  

A day after she was briefly detained following a clash between her supporters and workers of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in Warangal, state politician YS Sharmila was caught in another dramatic scene when police escorted her Took away the car while she was in it.

Drama unfolded on the streets of Hyderabad on Tuesday when YS Sharmila, who is also the sister of Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, joined her party’s protest rally at YSR Telangana’s Pragati Bhavan, the official residence of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Soon after he got into his car, police arrived with a crane that towed the vehicle through city streets.

Sharmila’s YSR Telangana party has launched a padyatra against the K Chandrasekhar Rao government and she was briefly detained on Monday after clashes broke out between workers and supporters of the ruling TRS in Warangal. Sharmila’s padyatra, which has covered a distance of around 3,500 km so far, has targeted the KCR-led government alleging corruption.

The video of the incident, which appears to have been taken by someone sitting in the car with her, shows Sharmila sitting in the car as the crane is pulling her out and her supporters and media persons walk along.

The windshield of the vehicle which was damaged in yesterday’s clash can also be seen in the video.

After high drama on the streets of Hyderabad, YS Sharmila was again detained on Tuesday when she tried to gherao the CM’s residence at Pragathi Bhavan.
