Here’s your first look at JioPhone Next and Pragati OS in the exclusive unboxing video

JioPhone Next co-developed by Jio and Google will be available for purchase from this Diwali. The smartphone will be available for order on JioMart, jio.com and buyers can also order the smartphone on WhatsApp.

Reliance Jio announced last night that JioPhone Next will be available from Diwali (November 4) and buyers will be able to buy the smartphone at an entry price of Rs 1,999. Smartphone, developed in partnership with Google, will be available for purchase at an entry price of Rs 1,999, the balance amount to be paid in easy EMIs over 18 or 24 months. Within a day of the launch of JioPhone Next, news agency ANI has released the first unboxing video of the smartphone.

In the unboxing video, we see what the box of India’s next homegrown smartphone looks like. The smartphone unboxed by ANI is Blue color variant and the hands-on video also gives us a first look Pragati OS, which looks pretty much the same as stock Android We got a few seconds’ worth of looks from. The unboxing video does not show the other contents of the smartphone box.

JioPhone Next will be launched with 5.45-inch HD+ display with quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon The QM-215 processor is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card slot. The smartphone will have a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. The JioPhone Next packs a 3,500mAh battery that is charged via a micro-USB port.

To make this phone accessible to every India, such a unique financing option is being introduced for the first time. If buyers want to make a one-time payment, the smartphone is priced at Rs 6,499.
