India have taken a 2-0 lead in the 5-match T20I series after losing to South Africa by four wickets in the second T20I. During the post-match interview, Pant mentioned how he was 10-15 runs short, the performance of the spinners and more.

As far as the spinners are concerned, Akshar could have been given only one over in which he conceded 19 runs. Chahal was equally bad as he scored 49 runs in four overs.

Akshar has conceded 59 runs in five overs in two matches while Chahal has conceded 75 runs in six overs. “The spinners need to do better in the game,” Pant said in a post-match presentation.

In the last three games, we will be looking for a win.
