Hema Malini has been making headlines ever since she skipped Karan Deol’s wedding celebrations. Fondly known as the Dream Girl, the veteran actor has time and again shared about her personal and professional life. In a recent interview, she revealed that a filmmaker tried to remove a pin from her saree, which made her uncomfortable.
The actor said that the director wanted to film some kind of scene. When asked to remove the pin from the saree, she replied that the loose end would slide down. Then Crews said that’s what he wanted. She also opened up about the film in the recent past and how filmmakers don’t bother to make their characters attractive. She also said that she is not sure whether she will work in films again or not.
Malini also revealed that she was Raj Kapoor’s first choice for Satyam Shivam Sundaram. “They said this is a film, you won’t do it but I am keen that you do it,” he said, adding that his mother was sitting next to him and she did not agree to the film.
Hema Malini and her daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol recently became the talk of the town when they were not seen at Sunny Deol’s son’s wedding. Following this, Dharmendra shared a social media post apologizing to Hema and her daughters for not personally inviting them to their grandson’s wedding. Karan Deol has recently married Drisha Acharya.
The actor-turned-politician worked with Dharmendra in several films including Seeta Aur Geeta, Sholay and others. Dharmendra will be seen there next time Karan Johar‘s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Hema Malini was last seen in the 2017 film Shimla Mirch co-starring Rajkummar Rao and Rakulpreet Singh.
