The helicopter carrying Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar along with three others had to make an emergency landing due to poor weather and reduced visibility due to thick fog in the area. The helicopter landed safely at Ukinyam near Erode district of Tamil Nadu on Wednesday morning. Reports confirmed that the helicopter took off 40 minutes after visibility improved in the area. It is to be noted that the spiritual leader was on his way to attend a program in Tamil Nadu when the chopper had to make an emergency landing.
The chopper was reportedly taken from Bengaluru and was on its way to Tiruppur in Tamil Nadu. In the private helicopter, apart from Ravi Shankar, three people were his assistants and pilots handling the operations. The emergency landing took place at about 10:30, with the helicopter taking off about an hour later.
