Helicopter Carrying BS Yediyurappa Forced To Abort Landing Due To Garbage On Helipad: Watch

The chopper carrying former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa crashed before landing in Kalaburagi. The helicopter had to abort its initial landing attempt as the helipad was littered with plastic sheets and other debris. As the helicopter touched the ground, flying plastic debris reduced the pilot’s visibility, so he decided to abort the landing.

The aborted landing was caught on video. The video shows the helicopter coming close to the ground and flying back up after aborting the landing on the helipad. According to reports, the plastic covering the helipad had to be quickly removed by security personnel on the ground. Later the helicopter was successfully landed.
