The IMD said that widespread rainfall is likely over Western Himalayan region and very widespread rainfall is likely over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and East Uttar Pradesh during June 16-18.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad during June 16-18, in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on June 16 and 17 and in North Punjab on June 16.
The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of widespread rain and lightning in Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe and Lakshadweep during the next 5 days.
During the next 5 days, widespread rainfall is likely over Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.
There is a possibility of heavy rain in Arunachal Pradesh on 15th and 16th June and also over Assam and Meghalaya during the next 5 days.
There is a possibility of heavy rain in East Madhya Pradesh on June 15 and 16 and in Chhattisgarh during June 15-17.

IMD said that south west monsoon It is very likely to hit Odisha during the next 48 hours. It said that light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at many places in the interior districts of Odisha at Gajapati, Ganjam and some other places. Thunderstorms and thundershowers are very likely at one or two places over Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Malkangiri, Koraput and Nabarangpur districts.
