If someone buys a ticket to leave on or after October 5, there will be no such limit. Similarly, if someone buys a ticket on September 21, the fare limit will be fixed by October 5. There will be no such limit on or after October 8. Under the previous rules, the fare was limited to 30 days. Not from the 31st day.
Emergency Air Travel (Last Minute Ticketing)
This rule will be applicable to air travel on emergency basis. Because if you buy the ticket 15 days before the journey then the minimum and maximum fare rules will be effective.
According to the Center, due to the restrictions on Coronavira, the minimum fare has been fixed for the airlines flying. Similarly, when the demand for tickets is high, a ceiling has been set so that passengers have to pay higher fares.
Will the air ticket fare increase?
On August 12, the cost of domestic flights increased. Because at that time the minimum and maximum ticket limit (from 9.63 percent to 12.62 percent) was increased. For example, the Center had increased the minimum fare from Rs 2,600 to Rs 2,900 for flights of less than 40 minutes. In other words, fares increased by 11.53 per cent. In those 40 minutes, the maximum fare was increased by 12.62 per cent to Rs 7,800.
What will be added to the ticket fare?
The minimum and maximum ceiling guidelines issued by the Center did not include passenger security charges, user development charges for airports and GST. The respective charges will be added at the time of booking the flight ticket.
