Earlier in the year, Mumbai Police had filed an FIR against gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, along with another individual, following an email threatening Salman Khan at his Mumbai residence.
And now, in the early hours of April 14, gunfire was reported outside Khan’s residence in Mumbai. The incident occurred around 4.55 am, as per initial reports by CNN-News18, with two individuals spotted on a motorcycle. Heavy police deployment is currently seen outside the superstar’s residence, Galaxy Apartments, with shots fired into the air. Mumbai Police initiated efforts to apprehend the culprits by examining CCTV footage.
According to police sources, three rounds were fired during the incident, which occurred around 4.55 am in the morning. The forensic team is expected to arrive at the scene soon to gather evidence. It’s being reported that the Mumbai Police Crime Branch will assume control of the case. Investigations are underway to determine the individuals involved in the incident.
Salman Khan travels with a big security team, especially since he was subjected to death threats earlier this year. He was granted Y+ security after he reportedly got a death threat from the Bishnoi Gang.
Back in April, when he received the threat, Salman said on Aap Ki Adalat, “I am going everywhere with full security. I know whatever is going to happen will happen no matter what you do. I believe that (refers to God) that he is there. It is not that I will start roaming freely, it is not like that. Now there are so many Shera’s around me, so many guns are going around with me that I am myself scared these days.”
