Vadodara: In a horrific incident, a 15-year-old boy was dragged away Crocodile In Dhadhar River on Wednesday afternoon. Vijay MalikThe residents of Pingalwara village on the outskirts of the city had gone to graze their goats with their father when they were attacked by a crocodile when they went to the river in front of their father’s eyes.
The frightened man raised an alarm following which some locals reached the spot and tried to trace the boy.
However, the reptile immediately disappeared with its prey into deep water. Fire officials said they got a call around 2.30 pm after which they sent a team to the village. However, firefighters are yet to locate the boy’s body.
The search will resume on Thursday on the Dhadhar river which merges with Vishwamitri and has seen attacks of reptiles in the past as well.
