Vadodara: A teenager from Gujarat claims that he can sing the national anthem of 91 countries by heart.
Atharva Amit in Vadodara mule said, “I have memorized national anthem Out of 91 countries, including Pakistan, Afghanistan and the United Kingdom.”
The 18-year-old teenager, who is currently learning classical music, said, “Since we believe in Vasudhaiva KutumbakamI thought I should also memorize the national anthems of other countries.”
The India Book of Records awarded him a certificate on March 6, 2021 for being able to recite the national anthems of 69 countries including Qatar, Syria, Thailand, Yemen, New Zealand. So far, Mule claims to have memorized a total of 91 national anthems.
“My family members practice classical music. My mother, grandparents and mother’s brother are in classical music professionally. I am learning and playing Carnatic music Veena. Out of curiosity, I started learning the national anthem to learn more about the music of different countries. So gradually, I learned the anthems of different countries”, he said.
This boy from Gujarat now hopes to earn many awards for India in the near future.
