Devbhoomi Dwarka: An elderly woman, her daughter and granddaughter were found dead at an acquaintance’s house. GujaratIn Devbhoomi district of Dwarka district, the police suspected that it was a case of suicide in the early hours of Monday.
An official of Bhanvad police station said that the deceased, a resident of Jamnagar, had come to his acquaintance’s house in Bhanvad town here about a week ago.
The official said three women aged 63, 43 and 18, who used to beg for a living, were found dead in a room in the house where they were staying for the past one week.
Mainly it appears that all three committed suicide by consuming poison due to financial constraints, he said.
The bodies have been sent to a government hospital in Jamnagar for postmortem, the official said.
He said that a case of accidental death has been registered.
