Greater Noida: Python Clings On Truck, Bike Rescued By UP Police | Watch

Greater Noida: The police have received praise for their courageous actions in rescuing an eight-foot python from a truck and ensuring the safety of the driver. The incident occurred at Pari Chowk in Greater Noida last week and gained widespread attention on social media due to an astonishing video of the rescue operation.

Sub-inspector Devendar Rathi and other officers utilized a rope-and-sack technique to capture the enormous reptile and relocate it. The post on X (formerly Twitter) has garnered over 12,000 views, with many users applauding the police’s efforts.

The accompanying video depicts the python coiled around the front of the truck, its body extending to the rear of the vehicle. As the clip unfolds, policemen can be seen securing the python with a rope and pulling it out of the truck.

However, it manages to escape and briefly seizes a nearby motorcycle. The officers then employ the same method to extricate the python from the bike and place it in a sack for removal.

Users expressed their congratulations to the police personnel, with one user stating, “Great work by the police, salute.”

Previously, UP Police had received praise on social media for innovative posts, such as a video featuring a deer patiently waiting for traffic to stop before crossing the road. The clip emphasized the importance of obeying traffic laws and received widespread acclaim from users.
