At present 8,000 employees of PUNBUS, Punjab Roadways and PRTC are on strike in Punjab. These are all contract employees. 2 hours before the meeting

A two-hour demonstration will be held at all the bus depots from 10 am to 12 noon so that the government can adopt a positive attitude in the talks. The employees say that the sooner the government listens to them, the sooner the troubled passengers will get relief.

Key demands of contract employees

  • The government should take action on the transport mafia so that the revenue of government buses increases and the government gets profit.
