Gorakhpur: According to the data of CMO office, Gorakhpur The state ranks fifth in terms of Covid-19 vaccination, as 5,73,632 males and 4,26,801 females have been given at least one dose of the vaccine in the district. Interestingly, the percentage of people aged 18-44 who are vaccinated is higher than those above 45 years. So far in Gorakhpur, 4,92,271 people between 18-45 years, 2,95,040 people between 45-60 years and 2,09,405 people above 60 years have received at least one shot of the vaccine.

Lucknow ranks first with 15,77,097 people receiving at least one dose, followed by Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad. Meerut is in fourth place and Gorakhpur is in fifth place, with 10,03,037 people getting at least one shot. Kanpur city is at the sixth position followed by Varanasi, Prayagraj and Agra.
