Days after posting several cryptic social media posts fueling speculation of his possible retirement from politics, singer-turned-politician Babul Supriyo said ‘goodbye’ in a Facebook post on Saturday.
“Goodbye. I am not going to any other party – TMC, Congress, CPIM, nowhere. I am confirming that no one has called me. I am not going anywhere. I am a team player! Have always supported one team #MohunBagan – have been with only one party – BJP West Bengal. That’s it!!
“I’ve been around for too long… I’ve helped someone, let someone down,” his post read.
