Today gold and silver price: After five consecutive days of decline in the country, a slight rise in the prices of gold and silver has been recorded today. Gold on MCX (MCX) today rose by 0.50 per cent to Rs 46,089 per ten grams. Yesterday its price had fallen 1.3 per cent to a 4-month low.
Silver prices also saw a rise on Tuesday. Today, the price of silver has increased by 0.90 percent to Rs 63,198 per kg. Silver was recorded at Rs 62,637 per ten grams in the previous session.
Global gold prices fall
Gold prices have declined in the global markets. Today spot gold has reached a record low of $ 1,730.47 an ounce. Meanwhile, US gold rose 0.4 per cent to $1,732.90 an ounce today. The change in the prices of gold and silver in India depends on the international market. The demand for gold and silver in MCX trading has also had a huge impact on the prices of these metals.
